I just had to reply to this question because currently I am in a relationship with my boyfriend for 14 months. I do feel that love is a feeling that the girl and guy feel together. But at the same time, while I know my boyfriend does love me and he knows I love him, we cannot ignore reality and think that love will solve all problems. Love doesn’t always keep a relationship steady. There is commitment, loyalty, communication, etc. that helps you keep the relationship going.
i agree 100% wit wat chelly said. i feel like anybody can say “i love you” but not everyone can show it. im not tryin 2 sound sappy but i feel like when u kno u love some1 its a feelin that both people can feel btw each other. like jus bcause your bf buys you stuff and takes you out doesnt automatically mean he loves you. its all about respect n values. if he cares enough to introduce you to his family and/or invite you to his place of worship it shows a lot.
Right now I don’t have a boyfriend, because I am going to wait for somebody to treat me good. My past boyfriends only wanted sex I am going to wait until I meet somebody that respects me, respects his self, and knows what he wants in the future. I will know if he loves me by the way he treats me, if he doesn’t hit me, if he listens to how I feel, if he doesn’t try to force me to have sex because I have decided to wait until I get married. I will know if he love me
if he does things I like to do, he will be interested in me and want to hear my goals, dreams, and aspirations, and most importantly he will talk about me to his family and friends and he will introduce me to his mother. The next man I meet will show me he loves me not just in words, but action to.
